Our COVID-19 response: telephone and video conferencing available

On Behalf of | Mar 17, 2020 | Firm News |

At the Katzakian Law P.C., we are committed to the health and safety of our clients and community.  In light of the serious threat posed by COVID-19, we are offering clients and prospective clients the ability to meet with us remotely, via telephone or video conferencing. Please call our offices at the numbers listed at the top of the screen to discuss your options.

Legal hearings and filings moving online

This is a rapidly changing situation, and our team is closely following all developments. As of March 16, the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) have adopted modified hearing schedules. They are limiting in-person appearances and filings. Most hearings will move to the telephone conferencing system CourtCall. Similarly, courts across the state are suspending nonessential proceedings or moving them to telephone conferencing.

We are still here for you

These are uncertain times, and our thoughts are with those impacted by this unprecedented upheaval. We urge everyone to follow the recommendations of their local officials to prevent the spread of this global pandemic. For most, that means sheltering in place, avoiding social gatherings and staying away from public places to the fullest extent possible.

Thankfully, technology allows us to remain connected. As always, our firm is committed to keeping clients apprised of all developments in their cases, and we will promptly communicate changes to hearing schedules or proceedings. We remain available to answer any questions or concerns that may arise during this challenging time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by phone or online.
